I never thought I like caramel, at least I didn't know about it.
In today's Cake: Classical to Modern class we made caramel crunch cake. I am in love with the sticky amber sweetness drizzle over the light disk of hazelnut meringue. The sticky goodies ooze out on the edges... Oh so sexy... It is difficult to resist the temptation not to load up the caramel, which I did and the cake was a bit too sweet. Next time!
